The SVGOP team is looking forward to our next meeting on Tuesday, April 16 at 6:00 pm at the Weathervane Restaurant. As a reminder, US Congress candidate Lily Tang Williams will join us to share her story, why she is running, and her insights on the importance of 2024. Please bring your questions for what promises to be an eye-opening conversation!
We will also be updating the group to all the new buzz in the local elections. And your legislature members will be providing updates as to what is happening at the State House. As of this week, we have “crossover”, which means all House bills are completed in the House and all Senate bills are completed in the Senate. They then switch to the other body. So everything that remains has passed at least one body and has a much better chance of becoming law.
